Of all of the memories that I take back from my month in Myanmar, I think that the long hours spent on the train rides through the Shan Hills stay with me the most. The slow rocking motion of the railway car as it chugged and klinked its way along the switchbacks carved into the mountains lulled me into a reverie, broken only by the hill tribe village stops along the way.
Don't miss the travelogues (listed below my passport photo) to see some of the real Myanmar. I hope you enjoy the country as much as I did!
