The Moominvalley is a collection of Moomin books, illustrations and three-dimensional tableux. The main thing and the pearl of the collection is a five-storey Moomin house, of course miniature size.

There is also a shop where you can purchase Moomin gifts, souvenirs, wooden handicrafts etc. You can find books written by Tove Jansson and translated in English Swedish, German, French, Italian and Japanese.

Tampere City Library - Pirkanmaa Regional Library Tampere City Library Review

This is one of the best places of Tampere. The main library is called Metso. There is a free Internet for everyone to use and Tampere has even their own Netti-Nysse which is a mobile Internet bus. It has started in the summer 2001 and has been a great success among people living in Tampere.

In the main library Metso there's a music department and departments for children and adults as well as a reference library and a silent reading room.

At the ground floor you will find the Moominvalley, Mineral Museum and Europe Information Service of Pirkanmaa.

Funfair Särkänniemi Amusement Park Review

You should visit the Särkänniemi amusement park where you can try a rollercoaster, carousel, viking boat and many other great ways to 'free your mind'.
There is couple of reastaurants in the amusement park.

Särkänniemi is located by the Näsinjärvi lake and the views are great from many rides of the park. In Särkänniemi you could also find a family zoo, delphinarium, planetarium, aquarium, seals etc. If you buy a 'key' you could visit all of these places for free as many times as you want in a day. If you are going to the amusement park, I suggest you to buy a 'wristband' (you could visit all the rides in the amusement park as many times as you want).

Directions: Because Tampere is well situated, there are many alternatives for those using public transport services to reach Särkänniemi.
The Tampere City Transport operated bus number 16 goes past Särkänniemi.
