I have been five times in Tallinn. The first trip was when my ex-boyfriend flew the 4- seat aeroplane to the Tallinn airport. The journey was great and it took about 1 hour to fly there from Turku. We visited the old city, Mustam?ki marketplace, Stockmann and some small shops.
My last trip was 16 of July, 2005. The weather was really nice but a bit windy. Every time I vist Tallinn it has changed someway. They are constructing new buildings all the time and new shops has been opened. I think Estonia's Europian Union "membership" has effected the city portrait in a certain visible ways. The environment is cleaner and people seem to have more money to spend (or is that just a delusion?) Anyway I like Tallinn.
Tallinn is near to Helsinki. It's so easy to get there by ferry from Helsinki and I'm always planning a new trip. |
