When we first came to Florida we rented hotels for all intent and purpose, till friends of ours pointed out hoe much more pratical, but more over economic it was to rent a vacation villa.

From the enormous offerings on the internet you tent to loose sight. To help you with this process we like to share our experience with you. Don't forget your vacation time is precious and you should return home relaxed and satisfied.

1. Do not go for the cheapest price, for there always is a catch 22
2. Look for gated community resorts
3. Vacation rentals only, not mixed with residential homes
4. Check the aminities offered in the club house, i.e. fitness room, outside pool, lounge area, beach volleyball court, presence of concierge, etc.
5. Is the vacation home close to the club house (you want to bring your kids there by car every time?
6. Am I in between foreclosures, with pie soup in their pools?
