"Port Douglas hot air balloon + romantic stuff" Port Douglas by amtam

had three days here, should have been three weeks
went with hot air balloon port douglas, had a blast ( pilot joke and we heard quite a few - all good)
watching kangaroos from a hot air balloon wasnt what we were expecting, hilarious
the colors in the sky were just brilliant
could see the pacific ocean at the highest spot we flew at
the driver had some real interesting stuff and gave us a great place to have breakfast afterwards and the best tip of the day - make sure to have a siesta

we struck it lucky - the water was like a pond and the snorkelling was amazing. what would we know, we've never snorkelled but it seemed amazing to us, the huge range of different shapes of the coral ...just brilliant
had double servings at their lunch buffet, all good and fresh and as we had gone at it all day we shouted ourselves extra drinks that the ship bar on the way back - wont forget this in a hurry -

met the nicest people at this shop, great sense of humour and seemed to know all the answers to our questions about port douglas, we bought each other a present here, went in for one shirt came out with a few. They might be called jungle clothing but we wore it all out to dinner at a restaurant on the hill at port douglas where obviously everyone else had money ....
