  • * * MY FAVOURITE SPOT * * A MUST VISIT RESTAURANT * *
This typical belgian restaurant is known by it's Cuisine à la bière and large list of belgian beers served here!
    ..........
Most of the dishes are cooked in beer and is a "must restaurant" for all beer lovers!
They even serve the best beer in the World: Westvleteren 12 Abt (according to me and ratings given at Ratebeer.com)
    ..........
Check out their website and find out what does "In't Spinnekopke" means :-)

  • This is one my favorite restaurant and I'll try to come here at least once everytime I am in Brussels.
    ........
The steaks are exquisite and fish-dishes very tasty….
You just can't miss to eat once here!!
    ........
From the outside it looks like a butcher store with the meet hanging in the window and when you enter the restaurant you pass through the kitchen!!
    .................
I have brought here so many friends and groups that the staff is starting to know me very well...lol!

  • Another institution just opposite Chez Léon where the menu list is huge and requires some time to be read!
Fish or meat, oysters and mussels are a must try here too.
    ..............
The picture shows the most ordered dessert Crêpes flambées à la liqueur mandarine Napoléon.
Needless to say it will take you to other spheres...

  • Ok, Ok I must admit that their standards have switched a bit towards tourirms -which not good!!

B U T they still have excellent mussels (see list on the left * Click to enlarge!(from aåril to september-as an unwritten rulöe) and fish dishes: my favourite: *Moules à l'escargot* and *Sole à l'Ostendaise*.
    ...............
Meat lovers will find juicy steaks to please their palate: my favourite here 'Steak au poivre vert flambé crème'.
    .............
Do check their newly updated "fun" website (Link below)!

  • The specialty here is a good steak or chateaubriand cooked over the fire in the ambiance of a listed farm of the XVII century.
    ..............
In the winter the log fire is ablaze and in summer I enjoy eating in the garden!

  • This restaurant is in Ixelles but easily reachable by taxi. It is mainly serving fish and has an oyster bar at its entrance.
    ........
It's a former old ironmonger’s shop (See all the wooden drawers for different screws and nuts). I like the place for the atmosphere - and sure it has some NICE :-)) statues too!
    .........
You may even see a famous actor, pop-star or known politician at "la quinc" such as Gérard Depardieu, Alain Delon, Helmut Kohl, Francis Cabrel, Mc Solar, Plastic Bertrand, Michel Rocard, Michel Leeb, The Gipsy Kings and many others...
    .........
Notice: the restaurant has a car-valet-parking!

  • This exceptional gastronomical place is located in a street called 'Notre Dame du Sommeil' which showes its name to a little chappel where sleepless souls in the 16th century came to pay hommage to the Holy Virgin.... nowadays it's more fun to stay awake

  • Just next to Rugbyman 1 there is this fancy looking restaurant which turned out to be more like a brasserie-type than a white tablecloth style one.
    ........
The menu is mainly fish and different size lobsters!

Another high quality page Tiina. I remember the La B'casse bar from your photo!

Tiina, was wondering if you managed to make all that HTML disappear... hard work ;-) but what a wonderful page still... BTW, too much good restaurants to try in Brussels. Regards.
