Vamos a volar a Tenerife Tenerife is situated in the middle of Canary Islands archipelago. It is 81 km long and 45 km wide. The Teide volcano, right in the middle of the island is extinct and is the highest mountain of Spain with its 3.718 meters. It casts the largest shadow in the world. |
The capital Santa Cruz is in the northern part of the island which is greener and has much more to offer from cultural side. If you want a 99% sunproof holiday go for the southern part. That is where I spent my vacation in Playa de Las Americas.
