Wilkes-Barre is on the southern end of the greater Wilkes-Barre-Scranton area in northeastern, Pennsylvania. The town of Wilkes-Barre isn't much of a tourist destination, but if you're heading up to the Poconos or to one of the areas state parks, it's an interesting enough place to spend a couple hours. I've kept this page suitably short to match the time I spent in Wilkes-Barre. I hope you enjoy the virtual look as much as I enjoyed my quick tour or this quiet town on the edge of the Susquehanna River. |
