I lived in Kansas City for about 6 months back in 1993. It's right smack-dab in the middle of the country and that geographical position gives it an interesting mix of midwestern, southern, western and even a little eastern influence. You'll find cowboys and rednecks, bone-suckin' barbecue, great museums and restaurants and warm, friendly people.

Nice tips on KC!! The city offered a lot more than I was expecting! I was impressed by both the architecture and the food!
