I've been to Tampa on business a couple of times when I used to work for a company that was headquartered there. I'm no expert on the city, but it definitely is a great place to be in January!
And I do know this: It's not Tampa Bay, it's Tampa. Yes, that's right Tampa is a city, Tampa bay is a body of water. The Tampa Bay area is actually made up of three cities, Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater.
If you want nightlife and action, Tampa is the city for you. If you're looking for a more relaxed atmosphere, head for one of the other two area cities. |
