I've visited the capital of the USA a few times and it's always a good time. What an incredible city! What an impressive seat of power! It has everything. Beautiful and sombering memorials, world-renowned museums, wonderful architecture and an outstanding cultural scene. There is arguably (with respect to Philadelphia and Boston) no better city to learn about the country's history and roots. However, there is without a doubt, no better place to begin to understand what being an American is all about. |
