If you want to pay twice as much for your food and drink and if you came to Dublin to hang out with tourists, then this is the place for you!! Try to avoid spending you life savings here. On my first day in Dublin, I took a stroll around the Temple Bar and was shocked at the prices on the menus posted on the door and windows of the charming restaurants. Don't get me wrong. You should take a look at this area and appreciate it's lively atmosphere and interesting streets. Just save your money for another part of town.

It's a good trap

There are plenty of internet cafes in Dublin, so don't worry about not being connected. However, try not to spend too much time in the net cafe. I popped into net cafes 4 or 5 times in my 3 days in Dublin, but mostly just to escape the rain and to check my email.
