Gaiety Theatre: The oldest . . . Theatres Review

The Gaiety dates back to 1871 and its website proclaims it as "the city’s premier venue for popular musical shows, opera, ballet, dance and drama." Their website is very comprehensive and even gives 360 degree views of the interior from various vantage place. It looks like a magnificent place to watch a show.

The Olympia Theatre: Theater Theatres Review

I didn't go, but I was walking by when people were lined up to go inside and it looked like a large and lively crowd. This place opened in 1879 and hosts mostly music and comedy acts.

Viper Room: Great for late nights Live Music Review

This is where the VT meeting finally concluded in the wee hours of the morning. The Viper Room is a pub, but a more upscale and modern one than most in the city. Dave, Orla, Gabby and I were the last four standing and we decided to go here since most other places were closed. I wasn't really paying attention to the guy in this picture, so I can't tell you how good the music was, but the overall atmosphere was lively and the craic was good!

O'Briens Bar: Traditional pubs Traditional Pubs Review

After beginning the night at another great pub called McDaid's (3 Harry Street) and eating dinner at Little Caesar's, our group headed out to a couple other pubs, one of which was O'Briens. Dave and I had a few more pints, I had my very first Blackbush Whiskey and wine was being consumed at a record pace. Ahh. The pub life.
