Tigua is a nice stop along the road that leads through Ecuador's beautiful Quilotoa Loop between Pujili and Zumbahua. The landscape here has a subtle beauty that is worth exploring slowly and leisurely. There were two brothers from Montreal staying at the same place that we stayed who were biking around Ecuador and I imagined that their pace was perfect for truly taking it in properly. However, even if you don't have the experience or stamina for such a physical challenge, I'd recommend stopping in Tigua and perhaps even staying at the same place that I did. You'll find it a stop worth savoring. |
| | The night we were here we lucked out since the locals were partying well into the night. They were celebrating the funding of a local school and they did it complete with music, plenty of alcohol and even some fun and games with some bulls. |
