Parque Nacional do Iguaçu Travel Guide: 302 reviews and 694 photos

The Parque Nacional do Iguacu in Foz do Iguacu is a must see for any visitor who is attempting to see the highlights of Brazil. My recent trip took me to Rio de Janeiro and Salvador before finishing my visit to Brazil here. The park was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986 and it's easy to see why. The waterfalls here are one of the greatest natural sights that the world has to offer.

The remote jungle setting of these waterfalls really gives them romantic appeal. As you walk throught the park, you will constantly be able to hear the rumble of the falls in the distance. And when you first see them, it's a sight you won't soon forget. The falls tumble from cliffs covered in rock and greenery and create spectacular photo opportunities and brilliant memories. Some of the information on this page will be a bit redundant if you've already read my Parque Nacional de Iguazu, Argentina page, but please feel free to browse the photos here and see the falls from a different view.

FANTASTIC page! Brasilian Iguacu looks more impressive but I would like to foolow your suggestion and to visit both sides although I visited always one side (southern rim) of Grand Canyon :-) - my mistake, I am sure :-(
