The last thing I built was a Nipa Hut, after the fashion of similar huts built for millenia. But it won't last 5 years with its level of use and being in its environment.

The thing I participated in immediately previous to that was the re-construction & re-development of the Dahla Dam in Afghanistan. But even at 60 years of age already, that durable structure has captured the attention of many factions vehemently opposed to the agencies involved in its re-habilitation, and, having now become a symbol of 'foreign interest', my own dismal projection is that it will not last ( in a servicable state of repair ) , for 5 years either.
