"One Year in Samoa" Western by Housesitter

I spent a year in Western Samoa way back in the late 70's when I was first married. It was a culture shock but I loved the place.
I stayed in the community with family. It was awesome. So primitive and so unspoiled back then.
I have been back three times and although the main town of Apia has changed, the outlying communities do not seem to have changed much at all. It is a marvellous place to visit.
I also spent three months in American Samoa.
