I worked in Frankfurt for 8 weeks a number of years ago. I didn't have a very good time because I didn't actually do anything other than eat, sleep and work - waking up at 8am, arriving at the office at 9am, leaving the office at 11pm if I was lucky, eating room service then going to sleep. Repeat over and over again. It must be the German way because working in Munich turned out to be very similar...

Don't walk through the red light district alone at night, especially wearing a business suit, like I did while trying to... more travel advice

Give Frankfurt another try sometime when you aren't just working here. And don't forget to go to the opera, that's what Frankfurt is all about.
