A decent club with lots of good-looking guys and gals, although the techno music may not appeal to everyone. It's a large place with a couple of dance areas, and best of all it's not too far away from Lori's Diner - the best 24 hour diner in town (at least, the best that I went to).

Dress Code: Smart casual would be my guess, but I imagine you can pretty much get away with anything.
Directions: Just around the corner from Union Square.

Polyester

A down-market 80s club, open late, in a pretty seedy neighbourhood not too far from Union Square. It's well known, so anyone will be able to direct you to it. Large and sweaty, there's a big dance floor and some wild dancing. And for those of you who know what it is, they DO sell Red Bull...

Directions: South west of Union Square.

Columbus Avenue

Just north of Chinatown, lots of bars and restaurants line the streets of Columbus, and if you go far enough east, you'll find some dodgy-looking strip joints too. If that's your thing, this could be the place.

XYZ bar

An upmarket bar populated by a slightly older crowd - late 20s, early 30s. Downstairs is a well-lit circular bar, with food available. Upstairs the lighting's turned low and the counter glows green. Go there on Friday or Saturday before heading out to a club.
