Technically, I've been in North Korea, although this patch of dirt is all I saw of it, at least from north of the border. Go to the Joint Security Area within the Demilitarised Zone between the People's Democratic Republic of Korea and the Republic of Korea, and you'll find the only place where you can step across the Military Demarkation Line that separates the two without getting shot at - inside the conference room where the two sides meet to talk.
