Unsuccesfully tried to get a room at Greenfield, Ubud earlier this year, we decided to try the highly recommended "Tegal Sari" an accommodation we spotted last year in the complex where Greenfield Ubud is. We asked for a "garden deluxe" and we had nothing to complain at all, apart from some disturbing Chinese who I believed they know nothing about manners at all, shamelessly opened the gate (which kind of built to keep the privacy of the occupants) to our room without knocking in several occassions just to peep in, with us being inside & outside of the cottage. A couple of times I even stood for a few minutes waiting for them to finish taking photos, even though I was signaling to enter into my block, they seemed to stupidly ignored me by blocking the entrance to my cottage.
Anyway, overall, we loved the staffs, they were very helpful and friendly. They always smiled and greeted their guests. They told us they were local residents of Ubud. They had a pool overlooking ricefields on both sides. The price doesn't include the breakfast, which we ordered separately and each was delicious. Whilst in Ubud, the boys hired two bikes from our usual place & received a lower price.
