A hidden area somewhere in the main island

A brief review before we get in to the real trip of Karimun Jawa. Karimun Jawa is a chain of 27 islands located in north side of Java Island, with only 5 of them have inhabitants living in. It takes approximately 3-6 hours to get there from Jepara or Semarang-depends on the weather and the type of boat you take. One thing to remember before you go to Karimun Jawa is that it is a lot easier if you take a trip package to Karimun Jawa because you’ll have everything arranged beforehand. However, for you who don’t want to get a package, you could arrange everything on your own-and it’s actually more fun!

Pros and Cons

Pros:A great place for a weekend getaway
Cons:It's so hard to go there without joining a 'trip package'
