"Guaymas & San Carlos - Spring Break 1998" Guaymas by Ewingjr98

Guaymas Travel Guide: 15 reviews and 39 photos

Guaymas is a mid-sized seaport on the east shore of the Gulf of California in Mexico. It lies about four hours south of the border-crossing at Nogales Arizona/Nogales Mexico. Just north of Guaymas is a resort town called San Carlos, where we spent most of our time. San Carlos is a playground for many Americans who spend time at the marina or the resort hotels.

The town had a few tourists when I visited in 1998, but I don't think it has grown too much. It was nice and relaxing.
