The Radisson Lexington is located in Mid-Town Manhattan and offers very good value for the location. Standard room prices are $180 and up, however I have seen occasional internet rates for as low as $119. Our 19th floor room was simple, with two queen beds, a view of several skyscrapers, and a TV with 40 or so channels. The hotel also has a gym, a coffee shop, and a few restaurants on premises. There is no hotel parking, except a public garage across the street. After the front desk validates your parking stub, it will cost $19 per 12 hours. This area has many restaurants of all kinds including Mexican, Japanese, Steak, Pubs and many others. The Green subway line runs along Lexington Ave, just in front of the hotel. The nearest station is at Lexington & 51st Street, just two blocks from the hotel.

Nemorino Tue Oct 2, 2007 20:38 UTC New York riddle: Which number comes next in this series? 34, 42, 50, 59, 66, 72, 79, 86, 91, 96, 103, 110, ...? Answer: 116, because that's the next station on the IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line. (I always used to get off at 116th Street.) | newyorkerman Wed May 16, 2007 21:22 UTC Re Mass Transit, the lines are grouped together according to which route they share in Manhattan. The difference in designation between letters and numbers goes back a century to when these were all under private ownership and competing with one another. | Tinci Sat Mar 10, 2007 09:16 UTC I am probably visiting NYC soon! I found a plane ticket for only 103 Euros!! :-)) Yipi!!! | gilabrand Mon Dec 4, 2006 15:48 UTC I would have taken back the tip in that Vietnamese restaurant. Clearly it wasn't deserved. I didn't know parking was free on Sunday?! Never heard about that! |
