|  | I visited snowy Boonville, NY, from 23-27 Feb 2006. Boonville has a great downtown area with numerous stores and restaurants, and it sits beside the historic Black River Canal. On either side of the town are the Adirondacks and the Tug Hill Plateau both huge areas of unspoiled wilderness great for outdoorsmen. |
