|  | On 24 August 2006, I made my first and only visit to Charlotte with my father while driving to California. We stayed at the Holiday in downtown and got to see a preseason game between the Carolina Panthers and the Miami Dolphins. From our short visit, I was very impressed with this clean, modern city. After we left North Carolina, we drove through South Carolina on our way to Atlanta, Georgia. |
