Annapolis is the capital of Maryland and the home of the United States Naval Academy. It is a coastal town in the Chesapeake Bay that has a long history of fishing and water activity. It is also the western end of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, connecting the eastern shore to the western shore of Maryland.
