Seaside's Mile of Cars

Seaside Auto Mall takes up a big chunk of the town of Seaside. The mall itself has about 20 major car dealers and there are dozens of parts stores, smaller dealers, repair shops, and other automotive-related businesses in the surrounding area. Seaside Auto Mall is marked by its two big rusty art towers and its three of traffic circles, which are the only rotaries in the area.

I have been to the Toyota dealer more than once and have alway been pleased with the service and the price compared to other local repair shops.

The auto mall was created in the 1970s, and was just renovated in 2008.

Han Kook Market 한국 마켓

The Han Kook Market, whose name should probably be written as "Hanguk" meaning "Korean," is a simple little Korean shop in Seaside. They offer standard Korean food available in most similar markets from coffees and teas to spices and marinades. They also have section frozen with a variety of mandu dumplings and Korean style cuts of meat, a fresh sections with lettuces, radishes, cabbage and other Korean staples, as well as a refrigerated section offering ready-made kimchi, spinach salads, bean sprouts, and much more. They also have fresh kimbab (similar to a California roll of sushi) and rice cake deserts daily I think.

Next door to the grocery store is a Korean Restaurant called Orient Express, that was named best Korean Restaurant in Monterey County of 2006 by the Monterey County Weekly.
