Apartment Stay

Since we didn't have a hotel reserved when we arrived in Budapest, we stopped at the Best Hotel Service near Deak Ter to find a room. Since apartments are often less expensiove than hotels, we chose that route and ended up with a great place right along the Danube within 100 meters of the Vaci pedestrian street. Our building was across from the Marriott at the corner of Csere J. Utca and Regi Posta Utca on the fifth floor. Our apartment (#56) was large with a king sized bed and a smaller twin bed, cable TV, telephone, a small kitchen, a nice bathroom with shower head, and a great view over the Danube. We stayed for two nights at 12,000 HUF per night (55 USD/night), from 28 Jan 2006 to 30 Jan 2006. The street address was Apaczai Utca 1.
