I have made dozens of trips to Virginia in the last 20 years. From quick drive-throughs on the way to Florida and North Carolina, to week-long stays in the Washington DC area, the Shenandoah Mountains, Richmond, Norfolk, and Newport News, I feel like I have seen much of the state.

In 2006 after we passed through Virginia, we spent a night in Charlotte, North Carolina.

As of December 2008, I now live in Virginia! I have a small apartment in beautiful and historic Old Town Alexandria, home to Robert E. Lee and George Washington.
