"Pakistan" Islamabad by Ewingjr98

Islamabad, a planned city, is the capital of Pakistan and is located next to the ancient city of Rawalpindi. Islamabad has some beautiful architecture and a good amount of money, but it has suffered from military dictatorships and terrorism over the years, overshadowing much of its potential.

Islamabad was established as the capital of Pakistan in 1960, and it is now home to some impressive government structures such as the Supreme Court, Parliament, the Secretariat, and the Presidential mansion. The city is also home to the grand Faisal Mosque and the National Monument of Pakistan. Under construction is the Centaurus, Pakistan's planned $350 million 7-star hotel.

Very informative tips! The security precautions sound a bit spooky, but I'm sure they are necessary. And I liked the tip about the bookshop that sells "Happy New Bike!" cards, and "now that you're retired the productive part of your life is over."
