Temple Bar

Temple Bar shares its name with the famous Temple Bar nightlife district of Dublin Ireland, and just like its Dublin namesake, Siem Reap's Temple Bar is one of the best spots in town. It has food, happy hour drinks (2 for 1), and a DJ/dance floor later in the evening. I enjoyed a cold Tiger draft for US$1.50.

Banana Leaf

Banana Leaf is a busy nightspot for eating and drinking, and is frequented by a large number of French customers. Beer here is US$1 per can and includes a nice bowl of snacks. Be careful... the toilet is behind the bar, so you have to walk through the bartenders' domain... but at least you don't have to wipe with a banana leaf!

Angkor What?

Angkor What is one of the most popular night spots in Siem Reap, but it is pretty average. There is not much of a crowd here early in the evening, and all of the patrons and employees are westerners. Angkor What? has a pool table with indoor and outdoor seating. I had an Angkor beer in a huge bottle for US$1.50.
