| | Incheon is world-famous for General MacArthur's amphibious landing in September 1950 to turn the tide of the Korean war. Throughout Korea it is also famous for an area called Wolmi-do and its fresh seafood. The Korean War history and fresh fish definitely make Incheon worth visiting if you are in the Seoul area.
Today Incheon is one of Korea's largest sea ports, its main international airport, and one of the nation's largest cities with 2.5 million people. |
