| | Busan, formerly known as Pusan, sits in the southeast corner of Korea. It is one of the Korea's largest cities and it's main port. During the Korean War, the "Busan Perimeter" became famous as the last line of defense for the United Nations forces prior to the Incheon invasion.
Busan is a scenic city surrounded by mountains and harbors. Like Seoul, there are parks, fortresses, and other historic sights that make Pusan interesting. Pusan is also home to Korea's best beaches, great seafood, and some good nightlife. |
