Here we go again...see as much as you can. Go around the globe if you can afford it. :) You'll gain insight into the differences that separate us all. I've been humbled by this experience and can't find the words to express how I feel...on the verge of tears? Also, I'm discovering how much tolerance and patience I really have. When your confined alone in a small studio without family or friends you have only "Me, myself and I." The journey sharpens your senses and creates a finer character. I'm sure of it!

I have a fascination for History, Linguistics and Literature [cemeteries, churches, Gothic architecture] and Philosophy [beaches and traveling] However, it doesn't end there. :) [Maybe I should upate during the day when I'm less tired and avoid changing the text so often?]

Sales and Marketing

Shake Shake Shake; Shake Your Booty!

This was not the first time I'd seen girls dressed in peculiar outfits to Sell! Sell! Sell! But the HomePlus grocery store has the same attire in white. Each aisle has several girls marketing "2 for 1" sales. I wonder if the store is spending more on manpower? I don't know, but my employer describes S.K. as a "Service Industry." I'm no economics guru, but aren't all countries "Service Industries" in one thing or another? What do I know.

Donghwasa Temple on Mt. Palgongsan near Taegu

Powerful

There are a few temples around the city of Daegu, but the one I decided to visit was on the suggestion of a fellow-teacher. It was a pleasurable experience. Donghwasa Temple had a guest speaker: Kim Hong Sin, a novelist who spoke of Buddhism. The theme was Where is Happiness?

The temple was built in the 5th century and has been repaired a few times to preserve its history.

I am actually sitting at the airport now waiting to board a flight to Australia.
Should be coming to Korea before too long as that is one of the asian countries i have not visited yet.
