Malaysia is home to some of the most prominent structures in the world. The Petronas Twin Towers, the world's tallest in towers standing at 452m (1482.9ft) .

Food in Malaysia is plentiful and of many varieties due to the diverse ethnic groups living together.

Pahang National Park

Taman Negara is the oldest protected area in the country. Originated from the legislation of Pahang in 1925, which set aside 130,000ha of land designated as Gunung Tahan Game Reserve.

Taman Negara is the largest and the oldest protected area in the country. It covers 4,343 sq km; the central coordinates are 04°30' North latitude and 102°59' East longitude. The altitude ranges from 60m to 2187m at the summit of Gunung Tahan.

There are several hills in the park above 1,000m elevation, including the highest mountain in Peninsular Malaysia, Gunung Tahan at 2,187m, but there are no impressive high-altitude granite formations

Mabul Island Sabah

Mabul is a small island off the south-eastern coast of Sabah in Malaysia.
Located 15km from Sipadan,

Surrounding it are sandy beaches, perched on the northwest corner of a larger two square kilometer reef.

Mabul island is administered by Semporna, Tawau district.

There are three resorts here, which provides accommodation for scuba divers - two located on the island, while one is on a converted oil platform about 500 meters from the beach. All of the resorts can arrange a day trip to the nearby island of Pulau Sipadan and Kapalai.
