Calvary of Plougastel Daoulas

one of the 7 best in Brittany, a calvary is a religious enclave enacting acts from the Bible. Much nicer done here with a great history.
In addition to a strawberry museum and nice lovely inner city center area with friendly people.
All nice.

history of the calvary of plougastel is rich and nice. educational and architecturally stunning.

a monument for all

monument to fallen in wars of the past

the city was affected by WWI with over 200 locals dead,and on WWII where large bombing was done before liberated by the Americans. One even came back to help rebuilt the calvary

the monument is in the patio where the calvary is located.
