A city of rivers and a port plus a wonderful abbey

This is Quimperlé, only about 45 minutes by car from me.

Quimperlé belongs to the region of Cornouaille (Kernev, Bro Gernev in Breton) , and the name of Quimperlé comes in Breton Kemperle that is derived from kemper, « confluent » and Ellé a river that goes into to create the Laita a river that goes into the ocean and allows the city ot have a port access.

Its a wonderful cobble stones city of lower and high city or basse and haute ville, blending all around the rivers Ellé ,and Laîta. The experience will be wonderful.

rivers and more all over the city

you have the Ellé, then the bigger Laîta but ,also the smallist Dourdu

narrow and stones

just getting by a place Saint Michel by the church Notre Dame de l'Assomption down to lower city or basse ville ,quaint and nice
