Porte St Vincent, le port area of Vannes

Gulf of Morbihan

I live in Auray and work in Vannes, the capital of the deparment of Morbihan -56 ,Breton for small sea ,in Brittany or Bretagne or Breizh in France. My name is Gwened, breton language in French it is Vannes.

A bit more about me, I have been to 76 countries of our world ,speak English,Spanish,French,and Portuguese. National passport carrying citizen of 4 countries including France. Loves to participate in travel forum here and elsewhere,and have my own blog in my profile.

Porte de Saint Vincent in le port area of Vannes, old city, this is in honor of Father Vicente Ferrier (1350-1419) who came from Valencia Spain in the 1418 to spread the gospel here, and He is buried at the Cathedral St Pierre here.

le port or pleasure boatmarina in old city Vannes

fantastic area full of old wooden houses, and restos around a pleasure marina with a canal that goes all from city center to the gulf of morbihan. I live 17 kms from here.

Auray , St Goustan district

Saint Goustan pl St Sauveur

This is where in 1776 Benjamin Franklin landed in 1776 en route to ask king Louis XVI to recognise the young nation of the USA; there is a plaque commemorating this and the street along the river is call quai Franklin, you see from the old castle remains toward the center of pl St Sauveur

Nice! Where in So Africa? Capetown or Jo'berg? It's on our destinations list. Having great weather here as well but too damned hot. Getting away to the mountains in about 3 weeks for some cooler temps!

Sitting in Nepal right now and i actually think it was ok Chelsea won as they have an amazing defense and Drogba was real good.
I would have liked to see a german team win, but just not arrogant Bayern so i am happy :)

Hi Pedro, I'm just back from my week in Paris. Here in St Malo it is sunny but still not really warm.
Don't know, for somebody like Abramov, it's never going to be good enough.
