    Getting TO/AROUND: When you travel around in Manila the cheapest way is the jepneys.But be carefuld and dont carry all your money with you if you travel on this way.There is a lot of real poor people in Manila and they cant stand if they see all your dollars.

    Getting TO/AROUND: The calesa a horsewaggon is also common transportation but not so cheap as tricykels or jepneys.

     It's not only the Japanese who destroyed the once beautiful Manila. As they retreated they burned the houses and buildings and brutally killed the people in between (est. at 100,000). The Americans bombed the remainder.

     I don't find this fair: while an american kid who's caught doing drugs will end up in http://www.drugrehab.net/ or in a juvenile correction center, another kid from Manila will end up in jail for the same crime.
