Cockfight or Sabong as its Philippine name is are a must every sunday in Puerto Galera.On the road to Calapan 1 km outside Puerto Galera You can find the Cockpit where the fights go on from around 13.00 .Just take a tricykle in Puerto and ask the driver to bring you to the cockpit.There is a lot of betting and if you put money on a fighting cock.take care you know how mutch and with who you bet.

Around 18 km from Puerto Galera on the road to Calapan Tamaraw falls is located.Its very different how much water you can see but after some rain its very nice looking and the road to Calapan is also worth looking at as it goes up with some great views-But sometimes the road can be bad in the rainy season.
