Restaurant Name: everywhere in Romagna region

Piadina or Piada is a traditional bread (I wouldn't call it bread, it's more like french crepes, just different taste, or a long lean pancake made of fat, water and flour) very tasty one, culinary tradition of many centuries in Romagna region. You won't find it in most of other regions outside Romagna.
You can eat piadina only, you can it with cheeses and/or vegetables, such as spicnaci, you can even eat it with nutela! Anythig goes!
Crescione - crescione would be a bended, closed, stuffed piadina with anything you choose.

Favorite Dish: Piadina could be brought to you in any traditinal cuisine restaurant at the begining while you are waiting for a meal as an appetitizer, in this case it will be sliced. Or you can buy it in special places as a main meal, kind of kiosks , white ones with green vertical lines, choosing it as you prefer.

Restaurant Name: Ristorante VECCHIA CANALA

I can say it's my favourite. Wonderful interior and decor, with style, sense of art and coziness. Great food and very normal prices. Everything I ate there was good, but the place is even better. stucked to my heart.

A place is run by a lovely couple. There is a terrace and the covered part. You'd better book in advance. Closed on Tuesday

Favorite Dish: choose what you like, I'm sure it will be good. Price depens of what you eat, but it's very typical which means varies from 7 to ~16 and more if you want euro for a meal.

Restaurant Name: Al portico

The place is in a new zone of Ravenna, quite a nice one. The good thing is that on monday when most of pizzerias are closed they are open. There are closed and open parts, parts for non smokers and smokers. Nothing too special, but nothing too bad. Food is good personal is nice, service quite slow, but it's because they are actually making food. Great for occasional dinners.

There's small parking place. Credit cards accepted,

Favorite Dish: The nice thing you can choose the base of pizza as you like thin, high or other. There are also quite good other meals on the menu.

Best, best, best ice cream ever!!!

To leave Italy without trying their ice-creams would be equal to commiting a crime! :)

Ice cream is always fresh and in any taste you can only imagine. Almost in every ice cream shop you'll find a high-quality ice-cream.

Favorite Dish: But there's another thing with Granita.. it's a kind of "ice-cream" , but it's made from grated real ice and with tastes. so in this shop Granita is for sure best in town, tried them almost everywhere, but you won't find any more real and better Granita al arancia rossa (red orange) in Ravenna than in this place! "real" ice-cream is perfect here too.

Restaurant Name: Restaurant Pizzeria

You'll find on the way comming from Mirabilandia towards Ravenna. Nice surrounding, great service. non smoking and well condicioned smoking areas. Nice small garden and children play camp outside. Prices around 10-40 euro.

Favorite Dish: well, typical italian.. One of the best white TABLE wines I've ever tasted (in this category, of course).

Restaurant Name: Ristorante LA GARDELA

Food was superb, can't guarantee anything as we where there only once. But that expierience was perfect, don't know whethear I was so hungry or what :). Seriously, lasagne was melting in the mounth. Wonderful service, no rush, location in a calm place and right in the center of Ravenna. Dinning there outside in summer is a nice expierience.the good things works till quite late as for a restaurant.

Favorite Dish: I loved lasagne. But my companion loved other meals saying they were good.
IT's a pity I can't say the prices but having in mind that it's a central location orientated to tourists they must have been higher than average.

Restaurant Name: Caffe della lirica

A very cosy, great place for a date and a cup of coffee.

Pizzeria Al Portico - good pizza (I eat pizza only in italy, any other country that I've been to, do not have normal pizzas...). Also nice place ristorante pizzeria il Cantuccio, food great too.
wouldn't go there again, although 'fashionable' among locals caffe' degli artisti - as the name indicates artist were playing role of slow waiters ;). cappuccino 10 points, tea - 0.
Would suggest trying traditional folk style Romagnolo restaurant. they are a little bot from the city, in Romagnolo country style houses, athmosphere. Traditional foods, even no meniu, as everyone knows what he can find. lovely athmosphere, good prices, tasty food and as everywhere in italy very big portions, esp for me it seemed so. But i'd really recommend to spend time in place like that, great for having lovely dinner with great food and conversation.

Favorite Dish: Ont he whole favourite food - you must try their traditional Piadina, love it, love it, love it! plain or with anything else. Real italian cappuccino coffee, tiramisu (dessert, for which I always have place:)), vegetarian pizza at Cantuccio. many many things.. especially loved home made food. also in gelaterias wonderful ice cream, esp in summer.

You can eat and inside but I don't like it there, thus for a take-away pizza it's a great place with a good price and a wonderful taste.
