Start point to our Lycian Way trip

This year my husband and I decided to visit south coast of Turkey. I had visited this wonderful coast but some 20 years ago. I wanted us to do a ?Lycian way? trip. We chose late September, because it was the end of the season, the temperature was perfect, water was warm, the schools were open, it was very quite. We took the plane from Istanbul to Dalaman airport, approx. 1 hour trip and we had airport- hotel transfer with a private minibus, 30 min. We arrived to our first stop called ?Dalyan?. Our hotel was located by the river, 10 min walk from the town. The town is very close to ancient ruins, it?s under the protected area. That?s why we loved this unexploited small town. We stayed here for two nights. It was great discovery for us, we will definitely comeback again. (more info about Dalyan http://www.dalyaninfo.com/Dalyan/dalyan_en.html )
