WHen was the last time you saw a rainbow ? To see one in Calaguas Island (Philippines) is icing on the cake.. After a brief rainshower, we saw a full rainbow .. a very rare sight indeed. WIth the azure waters in the background, the sight was priceless !
As there were no accommodations available, we slept in tents. We kept the rain ply off in order to see the stars and we were not disappointed as a full galaxy of stars were on display that night.. THe experience was surprisingly pleasant as it made me feel like I was close to nature.
The island faces east so sunsets are expected.. but I never expected it to be as amazing as the sunsets Manila Bay is known for! maybe it is being in Calaguas Island that I appreciate sunsets more.. The colorful sky made it a perfect time to practice silhouette shots. Here is one.
