This lovely little town in Alaska isn't really what you would call an exciting or lively place, it's a rather quiet place where you can perform some of the tours that are attractive to tourists when they visit Alaska, such as visiting a glacier or go hiking or even buy a few local souvenirs.
The landscape Haines offers when the cruise ships arrive to the dock is breathtaking as you can see in this picture... it really looks like a fairy tale village with the nature on the background.
- Pros:Beautiful views & interesting tours available
- Cons:Too small & quiet, not a town to visit for itself but for the tours offered...
