I must admit I visited Rome in 2000 cause I wanted to take a long vacation away from home (in Europe) and I had several friends to visit there, not because the town attracted me by itself. The first time I visited Rome I was 11 years old and didn't like it that much. But I must tell you that I fell in love with it during my visit in 2000 and I didn't think I'd go back soon, but I had the wonderful chance of spending a couple of days there in July 2007, yay!! It's a city I definitely recommend for everyone to visit and enjoy!!

Rome became a clean and better organized city after the Jubilee celebrations in 2000, and it's a delight to visit it although it can also be a quite chaotic city. I hope that the tips I could collect during the month I lived there and this most recent short visit will be helpful for someone. Enjoy your trip! And know that I ENVY YOU all guys who will be able to go there soon! :)
