Settle Down, It's Just An Abbott Kinney Food Truck

Somos Los Locos. We're the SoCal_Locos.

Welcome to VirtualTourist's Southern California Local Chapter. We're looking forward to sharing the nuttiness with other VTers in the area as well as those who are just visiting. We are always up for hijinx so be sure to look out for our meeting notices and of course, if you're in town, drop us a line and we'll take you out for macrbiotic bean sprouts and filtered ion water! If by ion water you mean prosecco.

Planting trees for the community

While making friends all over the world is our main priority, we do take some time to not only smell the roses but plant them. This is us last year as we took a day off work to plant some trees is a nearby neighborhood.

If there's anything Southern Californians love it's showing off their weather. Why do you think we spend so much time in January calling our friends on the East Coast to tell them we're wearing shorts? Because we like to gloat, that's why, so if you plan on being here at any point give us a buzz!

Not even being suspended in midair can deter some people from making the VT sign! If that doesn't get extra ratings, we don't know what does.

You Know You're in Southern California When...

...you refer to the freeway as your "home away from home."
...your children think of you as "their stylist."
...you're shocked to hear that there are restaurants you can't drive through.
...you resent rain.
...you sleep with a Starbucks cup in your hand.

Hello there, on this 25th of December. If you celebrate Christmas, all your London friends would like to wish you a very happy one. For those of you that celebrate Chanukah, a similar message. If you have just celebrated the winter solstice, we hope you are enjoying the season and if you do not celebrate any festival, wherever you are, all your VT friends in London wish you the very best and hope you can come to visit us soon in this wonderful city.
