    • Favorite Thing: Equetrian King Sheshi Skenderbeg sculpture placed almost in the middle of this huge comunist square, the best point to start the visit... its just 10 or 15 minutes on foot from the youth hostel walking north-west.. the vast square is full of people at rush hours and the typical men trying to sell albanian money (green banknotes) that i will never rely on them...lol...
    Be careful this is where the car's rule is a fact and dont cross the streets before the locals ...all is a bloody mess !!

    Behind the sculpture is place the Et'hem Bey Mosque (1789-1823) maybe one of the most beautiful highlights in this city altogether with the lake, Its one of the most oldest buildings left in Tirana and worth to visit

    • Favorite Thing: This huge building could be seen at first sight. Its mosais mural represents the albanian victory against Illyrians during the WWII
    The museum holds most of the archeologians treasures

    • Favorite Thing: On the south bank of the tiny river that cross Tirana aka the former Enver Hoxka museum... the Albanian comunist president, designed by Hoxka daughter. Avtually as i could see is a conference center and a disco at evening and by the way just as a slide for kids !

    • Favorite Thing: the market in the eastern end of the city its a good point to see how locals do in this cahotic city... maybe is one the most peaceful places of the city cos its not in the downtown

    • Favorite Thing: this pic was taken from the train station main entrace... i didnt know what it means such a pile of rubble just there... and i realize that all the city was that... cahos and a lot of things to do and recover ..such a pitty ..actually when i get off the next day to the north to Montenegro i kept in on seeing things like that around the wholle city
