Nightlife Spot: Budapest at night
We spent our first night there going up to buda castle and visiting it from one end to the other end. We could see the palaces and above all this beautifull fortress designed under a turkish influence..amazing i thought the first time there..cos behinf a gothic church there is this stunning construction .

Nightlife Spot: Szimpla
The two times i was in Budapest i enjoyed a lot going out with locals (friends) .. they took me around budapest looking for clubs..nicer ones..the main area is located around Nyar utca and Rakoczi i dont remember exactly the street it was closer to nyar going up ..but if you get a guide take a look for it.. its a great place looks really underground with some lounges not chic, trnedy or fashion , at all , ***ing posh people . its so nice for me local people of course.. great and cheap beer, also there is open-air area better in summer not in october!! lol and for the ping-pong lovers there is a nice table to play that olympic game !!

Nightlife Spot: Jail club
Looks amazing !! its a bloddy jail !! decoration is higly slick !! some lounges split by bar jails and everything is really nice there...maybe the music is normal but the pint is around 2? and close quite late . I can suggest so much this place there is a entrance fee .. i guess it was 500 HUF (2 euros) and wardrobe service per 100 HUF

Nightlife Spot: Great Pub
This was our first club in Budapest ..look like an irish pub but downstairs there is a dance floor some nooks with tables and other bar The place is quite nice i guess there isnt any admission fee and for 100 HUF you can keep your jacket. The ambient and the people are nice. .no troubles there full of locals anda pint for example is 500 HUF (2 euros) It close around 5am and on the same street if you are hungry there is a creps stall so useful at those hours A good place to meet people is outside. in front of the frontdoor where people chat happily.. i met a lot them young italian people studying there ..its so common in budapest!

hunterV Thu Oct 9, 2008 14:37 UTC Hello, David! It's a great destination indeed! ~ Good luck, mi amigo! | dabidc Tue Apr 29, 2008 23:08 UTC David, thanks for the excellent info on about everything to be seen in Budapest. I also enjoyed a visit, amazing how 2 people see a city differently. Maybe a youth view point as against an "old "person's interest.haha. Great to meet the locals. | blint Fri Apr 4, 2008 00:54 UTC Great page. One of the best I have seen on Budapest as it shows not just the main monuments :) Grrracias |
