During the period of April 25th through May 14th I participated in a humanitarian training with the US Army in the Chalatenango Department of El Salvador (this region is the northern most dept. boarded by Hondurus). This exercise included bringing medical treatment to residents, veterinary treatment to local animals and engineering projects to the communities. My rotation was the fourth out of four, with additional set-up and redeployment phase. The entire exercise went from January to June. |
